ISO – and ALU-sectional doors
The aluminium-frame-sectional-door is the industrial door with the highest light incidence
Horizontal sections, linked by hinges with each other, are led upwards by means of rollers in sliding rails. The installation is typically on the inside of the building; when the door is opened the entire clear diameter and clear height of the building opening is unblocked and clear. A spring aggregate - shaft with torsion spring - takes the weight counterbalance. Steel cables and special rope drums transfer the spring tensions onto the moving door leaf. A solid frame-bars-construction surrounds the glazed fields. Insulated glazing as heat insulation is common and also standard. The aluminium-frame-sectional-doors are the most commonly used doors for workshops, garages, fire guards, depots of transport services etc. – in short :whenever a lot of light incidence is required.

A spring aggregate -shaft with torsion spring - takes the weight counterbalance. Steel cables and special rope drums transfer the spring tensions onto the moving door leaf. The choice of surfaces provides various options regarding the optical appearance : smooth, 122 mm fluting, micro-fluting, stucco design etc. allow for individual designing.
Panels, windows and doors
The sections are designed according to the sandwich principle and are 40 mm thick. The core consists of polyurethane- rigid foam, containing no CFCs. The outer and inner shells are made of galvanized plastic-coated steel sheets which are 0.55 mm thick. Thrust-free connections between rigid foam core and steel sheet result in high load-bearing capacity. Thermal separation between outer and inner shell guarantees high thermal insulation value. Nut-spring construction and affixed sealing tapes provide good sealing of the sections among each other. A k-value of k = 0.58 W/m2K and sound-absorption value R' w of approx. 25 dBA indicate the outstanding thermal and sound insulation of the sections. Highly flexible sealing profiles form the finish of the door leaf to both sides, ground and lintel. The door truly deserves its name > ISO < in every respect.

‘A door in the door’ is possible in most cases, for ex. as a slip door in the door leaf itself or as a side door in a fix side frame. (The separation of people and transport of goods by a separate door should have priority).
Drives and controllers
The types of control are varying individually. For high operating frequencies for instance the electric drive seems appropriate. Of course, comfort also plays a role. In terms of comfort there are almost no limits: radio control, contact loop, photoelectric barrier, time-dependent automatic opening and closing, traffic lights, etc.
Safety devices and monitoring
Corresponding to specific applications / doors protection against spring fracture, rope breakage protection and safety rail are recommended or even prescribed. All applicable regulations and provisions can be observed as well as additional conceptions be met.
Galvanized fittings and rails guarantee longevity. Ball-bearing rollers, permanently elastic sealings to the building and coated torsion springs are just some criteria for long-term reliability. The taking profiles for bottom and top seals are made of anodized aluminium profile (E6/EV1). The closed rail system prevents unwanted intervention from the outside.
